Facebook Community Journalism Grant Program
Bob Borchard, Editor/Publisher Yosemite Gold Country Yosemite Gold Country Grant Application November 6, 2019 is the submittal deadline for the last round of funding for the Facebook Journalism Project Community Network – Grant Application. Being the wordy guy that I am, I just could not get my message down to 100-words, but I think this information in is important. I have learned a great deal since we first ventured into the community promotion game for Mariposa. As I read through the “ancient” posts on this Blog page, I’m reminded how our $500k annual promotion budget has let our business community down over the years. On the up side, if they had been doing what we needed them to do, with the millions of dollars of our County funds, I would never have felt the need to venture into this business. Now, I am applying for a grant to help build the “Network” into a self-sufficient enterprise. This message is intended to the read by the good folks at Facebook but I think i
